【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversestablishmentofperformancerequirements,testmethods,andlabelingrequirementstominimizethehazardstousersofscootersasidentifiedintheintroduction.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtocoveruseofthisproductforchildrenages5yearsandolder.1.3Noscooterproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementsherein.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
